Great Staples Deals Week of 7/12

Well, I usually don't shop at Staples, but had to stop there today, knowing they had 500 sheets of copy paper for only one penny after rebate....

Here's what I got:
Two packages of 500-sheets copy paper
Two Scotch Tape
Two packages of pencils
Two packages of pens
Two packages of chunky pink erasers (3/pk)
Two packages of highlighters (5/pk)

Total spent at the store was: $17.55, and I just submitted my rebate online to get $7.37 back for the paper, so my final out of pocket costs will only be $10.18, which isn't bad for 12 items!

I could kick myself, however....the ad I had IN MY HAND had a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $20 or more....if I would have remembered about that coupon, I would have purchased a few more dollar items and then my total would have been under $10 for 15 items.....maybe I'll have to go back and buy more...we'll see :)
